5TH ANNUAL OCTOBEER FEAST FOOD FESTIVAL & PET ADOPTION
San Antonio, September 9, 2015 – Boardwalk on Bulverde will host their 5th Annual OctoBeerFeast & Pet Adoption Friday October 2nd through Sunday October 4th. Animal Care Services (ACS), Bexar County’s largest open admission shelter, will showcase animals available for adoption and a portion of the proceeds will help them care for the thousands of unwanted animals they take in each year. On-site adoptions will take place on Saturday and Sunday October 3rd and 4th 12 noon to 5pm. For those who wish to support ACS but are unable to adopt a pet, pet food donations will be accepted throughout the entire event.
Food trucks featured during OctoBeer Feast will include: Treats on Streets, Gracie’s Kitchen, Sir-Wacha, Chilito’s Express Latin Fusion Kitchen, Cajun On Da Geaux, Ain’t Ya Momma’s Pie, Mr. Fish, Where Y’at, G. Bro’s Chicago Style Pizza, Gilbo’s Grill, Southern Gourmet On Da Geaux, and El Picosito. Plenty of adult beverages that compliment the season will be available for purchase as well as water, Gatorade and soft drinks. All ages are welcome and the first 500 people to order tickets through Eventbrite at www.OctoBeerFeast.Eventbrite.com will receive FREE admission. After the first 500 tickets, admission is $5 and kids 12 and under get in free. Boardwalk on Bulverde is San Antonio’s first food truck park. The pet-friendly, familyfriendly special event venue is located at 14732 Bulverde Road in San Antonio between Thousand Oaks Drive and Loop 1604.
The recently renovated park features a brand new playscape for kids, an school bus arcade, washers and a basketball hoop. Friday evening DJ Quake will provide entertainment and everyone will enjoy live music on Saturday night from Kerosene Drifters starting at 6pm. The 5th Annual Octobeer Feast event is sponsored Cruising Kitchens and PrintIt Custom Wraps and Graphics.
