Over the past year, there has been a slew of restaurants and bars popping up all over San Antonio. From tiki bars to french bistros, there is no shortage of options to dining out or ordering to-go.

No matter what you’re craving or in the mood for, your mouth will be watering after seeing some of these new tasty dishes.

Here are our 15 favorite new restaurants and bars. Try them out to find your new summer hot spot.

Amor Eterno

Located in Southtown, Amor Eterno is a great bar to get some fun in an intimate setting. With its tiki bar theme, it’s like a little island getaway. Don’t miss their awesome Sunday brunch.

Best Quality Daughter

From the collaborators who brought us the exquisite Hot Joy, now bring us Best Quality Daughter. This New Asian-American cuisine made its home at The Historic Pearl. It’s hard to miss with its pretty pink exterior.

Brasserie Mon Chou Chou

Inspired by their homeland, three Frenchman opened up Brasserie Mon Chou Chou to bring their passion for French food to life. They are located at The Historic Pearl and offer a delectable French brunch every Sunday.

Cervecería 88

This new sports bar has a Mexican flare. With its menu featuring burgers, fish tacos, and chicken wings. They offer classic cocktails, margaritas, bottle and draft beers.

Cuishe Cocina Mexicana

Cuishe Cocina Mexicana’s menu focuses on the Central Mexico region. Their menu is filled with authentic recipes. They already had an established location in Stone Oak and just opened up their second location in Downtown.

Curry Boys BBQ

Curry Boys is a mixture of Southeast Asia and Texas. Their specialty is right in the name, curry bbq bowls. It’s a quaint establishment with big flavor. Curry Boys BBQ is an order-up restaurant with only outdoor seating.

The Dooryard

The unique concept of self-serve beer and wine has finally made its way to San Antonio with The Dooryard. They have 30 taps of beers, wines, and ciders to choose from. This is perfect for those who like to try something new without committing to a full drink. They offer indoor and outdoor seating, and a food menu with some classic bar snacks.

COMING SOON

Another new restaurant bar will be opening in San Antonio this summer; Three Star Bar. This deli-inspired eatery will open its doors just north of Downtown.

Ghost Kitchens SA

Ghost Kitchens is a ‘virtual restaurant’; only offering food delivery and not a dine-in experience. Four eateries delivering food from one establishment. At Ghost Kitchens, you can have food delivered from Outlaw Burger, Mother Clucker, Firebelly Wings, and HotBox by Wix all in a single order.

The Hayden

The Hayden is a classic deli with a touch of Texas. The interior is very charming with fresh plants filled throughout the restaurant. Although it is a deli, they offer a variety of alcoholic beverages, brunch, and a happy hour. Enjoy your bagel and lox with their mary-berry mule.

Hello Paradise

Hello Paradise is an eclectic restaurant, featuring authentic Thai food, tropical drinks, and local craft beer. They have an expansive patio displaying a movie projector on the side of the building.

La Milanesa

La Milanesa Restaurant & Grill brings South American cuisine from Uruguay and Argentina to San Antonio. The eatery has a quaint and roomy interior with room for a big party. Their menu consists of dishes such as tallarines, empanadas, and of course, milanesa.

Motel Fried Chicken

Notable chef Chad Rosenthal was on a mission to perfect the fried chicken sandwich, but his menu goes beyond just any regular chicken sandwich, he offers a variety of options, spicy or regular.

Project Pollo

A vegetarian/vegan establishment with a mission, to save animals. Project Pollo serves up chickenless chicken with menu options such as chickn strips, chickn sandwiches, and buffalo chickn mac & cheese.

SA Seafood

The name says it all, SA Seafood. They have large seafood platters for the whole family. Serving up all the seafood favorites, shrimp, oysters, catfish, crawfish, and so much more. Another great quality of this establishment other than their tasty seafood, they are a BYOB restaurant.

Scooped Cookie Dough Bar

Everyone’s guilty pleasure dessert is now available on the Northwest side of San Antonio. Scooped Cookie Dough Bar has a myriad of options for cookie dough, toppings, and tasty treats.
